So Arlen Specter decided to go Democrat. Finally.
The truth is he's one of those squishy Republicans I've mentioned once or twice who cause conservatives way more problems than they solve. He's been a closet liberal for as long as I've been aware of him so it is no loss for the Repubs.
Now. Let me be clear about this. I'm a Conservative. That's with a capital C. Not necessarily a Republican. The Republicans lost me quite a while ago. They had a chance way back in 94 to do everything a Conservative could desire to make sure this country stayed free and prosperous. Taxes, borders, language, security, dead bad guys. Everything. Instead they screwed and spent their asses right the hell out of office and BO and the rest of the Commie Youth into power. Along the way they pretty much screwed and spent the rest of the country into hell as well. The Republicans had both houses and the Presidency and they totally blew it.
One thing you can say about BO, he's kept his eye on the ball and he's getting pretty much everything he wants. Too bad what he wants is socialism and absolute power.
Who's to blame? Hell, just put up a roster of leading Republicans and throw a dart at it. Which leads me back to Specter the Sleazeball. I heard him say that the Republican party has gone too far right. I threw up in my mouth a little bit. Just the opposite is true. The Republican party was thrown out of office precisely because they went too far to the left. And who was out in front, waving his little red hammer and sickle flag?
Arlen "Sleazeball" Specter. He's an opportunist, sticking his finger up to test which way the wind is blowing. He knows he'll never get past a Republican primary ever again so he's coming out of the political closet and affirming what we've always known. He's a hack and has absolutely no morals, scruples or conscience. A perfect commissar and the left is welcome to him. If the people of Pennsylvania ever re-elect this boil, no matter which party he claims, I'll erase that state from my map and consign them the title of Stupidest in the Union. I wonder how the folks who gave him money and got his sorry ass elected feel about him today?
If the Republican party wants me back, and incidentally wants themselves back as the dominant political power, they not only need to shed dip shits like Sleazeball, it is an absolute requirement. Specter shouldn't have had the chance to change his affiliation, Michael Steele and the rest of the 'leadership' should have thrown his leftist ass out of the party long ago. It's time and past time to get rid of the traitorous scum in their midst. Time to take the party back to it's Reagan ideals.
I'm tired of saying this. Stop trying to get along with the left. Stop trying to find a common ground. Stop allowing them to set the agenda and define the argument and the language.
Bi-partisan is a curse word and should be stricken from the Conservative lexicon. I don't want to get along with those who want to enslave me and my grandchildren. I want to kick their asses and run them the hell out of office and out of political life completely. This is a war of ideas. A war for for our very liberties and it's being run by the likes of Specter? It is insanity to give credence to the enemies of everything good and moral and right in America. They're wrong and it's time for the Republicans to put on their big boy pants and do battle with these half wits. If Specter wants to associate himself openly with them (For the first time. His political leanings surprise exactly no one) send him out with a big old Conservative boot print on his ass.
The Republicans need a plan and they need to understand that people like Specter make it impossible for them to ever be more than a historical footnote. They're already at the bottom. It's time to stop digging and start building a ladder. Specter is a nice first rung but there's a lot more where he came from. Of course it's long way back to the top. Baby steps kids, baby steps.
It's a long ride boys and girls. Saddle up.

Ok, Now I'm Concerned
I've been accused of being many things, a conspiracy theorist has never been one of them. That said, I find this alarming. Go read Ed Rasimus' take Thunder Tales: Fort Bergen-Belsen on this bill OpenCongress - Text of H.R.645 as Introduced in House National Emergency Centers Establishment Act.
It seems fairly innocuous on the surface but a little reading between the lines is chilling. Let me know what you think. I'm putting the DO on this for her evaluation and I'm going to ask her to post her findings (She's the scholar and the real brains of the outfit. There. I said it).

What's Next?
Please read the attached proposal. I did not write this but it sounds to good not to pass on and we are at liberty to make it fit our own path.

Many of you have written and called with the question, “What do we do, now that the ‘tea parties’ are over, to get our legislators to listen and make the adjustments to government that are needed?”
Here is a proposed step by step plan.
1- Get legislation passed the will mandate a full semester of Constitutional Study for a student to graduate high school.
If they can mandate sex education they can mandate this. Our politicians and elected officials of tomorrow will come from the students of today. Proposed text: The Making of America by Cleon Skousen. Read it for yourself and see if it is not suitable. If we send people to elected positions that have studied the constitution, the very worst thing that can happen is that they know what it says and what it means to follow a constitutional platform for government.
2- Limit Terms & Take away the government entitlements .
If you hit them in their pocketbook, you can get rid of those who aren’t serious about serving. We rotate representatives every two to four years anyway. Why not just move them on out. This would allow us to find and nominate those who are willing to work for a shorter time for the purposes of doing ‘good’ for the country and people. Not to secure themselves a lifetime income for having held a seat for a term. We can get rid of ‘professional’ politicians, or life time bureaucrats.

We limit the President to two terms. Should that not suffice for the rest of government?
Make them qualify for the position. Many of us have (and maybe still do) hold professional licenses issued by the State and Federal Governments. We were required to go to school ( and show completion of courses), pass tests and pay fees to get those licenses. We also have to take continuing education classes to “prove” we are “professional & competent” to keep them. What do those who mandate these fees and testing and classes do to show they are “professional & competent” as law makers.
We can propose that they show completion of a course of study, equal to that of a high school graduate, on the State and / or U.S. Constitution, and make it a requirement that they complete continuing education, every 2 years, in those same studies in order to retain their seat. If it’s good enough for you and me it is surely fair to those who “regulate” our businesses.
When a Congressman (or woman) leaves office, their income from that office should stop. As it is now, these people receive their salary for life. I don’t know of many in the working world that enjoy that privilege. Make them pay into Social Security, we do. They are citizens just like us. When they have to rob their retirement, they may be more careful on how and where it gets spent. By limiting terms we would be able to put new people into office that hopefully would not be caught up in the “business as usual in Washington D.C.” attitude.
Take away protection from prosecution while attending legislative sessions. Under current State Law, a State Legislator cannot be prosecuted while traveling to or from a legislative session. I have personally spoken with Utah Highway Patrolmen who have told me that they have pulled over state representatives that were driving in excess of 90 MPH, so drunk that they could hardly stay on the road, and they were immune from prosecution because the legislature was in session.
3- Work on repealing the 17th amendment.
This would place the power to select our government representatives in the hands of the State Legislature (pre 1913). This would give greater ability to the people to react to and influence the decisions our Federal Representatives make. If our Federal Representatives were not performing as we felt appropriate we could then put pressure on the State Legislators to make the changes. If at the State level the changes were not made, then the State seats would realize new occupancy. This form of selection should greatly reduce or even eliminate the “Campaign Money” that would need to be raised. That being said if the politicians wanted to continue to “fund raise” they could contribute the money raised to better causes, like our schools, hospitals etc. Maybe even fund some course in constitutional studies or set up scholarships for those who would study the constitution. With the reduction or elimination of fund raising and campaigning, they could focus their time on issues.
Just some thoughts that you may want to pass on to your representative in government. Feel free to adapt or edit them to your personal take on things.

Your infantry unit is outnumbered 8 - 1, and the enemy fire is so intense, from 100 or 200 yards away, that your own Infantry Commander has ordered the MediVac helicopters to stop coming in. You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns, and you know you're not getting out. Your family is half-way around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day. Then, over the machine gun noise, you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter, and you look up to see an un-armed Huey, but it doesn't seem real, because no Medi-Vac markings are on it. Ed Freeman is coming for you. He's not Medi-Vac, so it's not his job, but he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire, after the Medi-Vacs were ordered not to come. He's coming anyway. And he drops it in, and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 2 or 3 of you on board. Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire, to the Doctors and Nurses. And, he kept coming back. 13 more times. And took about 30 of you and your buddies out, who would never have gotten out. Medal of Honor Recipient, Ed Freeman, died last Wednesday at the age of 80, in Boise, ID.
May God rest his soul. I bet you didn't hear about this hero's passing, but we sure were told a whole bunch about some Hip-Hop Coward beating the crap out of his "girlfriend." Medal of Honor Winner Ed Freeman! Shame on the American Media. Let us remember him forever.

Georgia Arms is the 5th largest retailer of .223 Ammo in America. (They sell 9 mm, .45, etc ammo)They normally buy spent brass from the US Dept of Defense - 'one time used' shell casings by our Military - from training on Military bases, etc. They buy the brass and then re-load for resale to Law Enforcement, Gun Shops, Gun Clubs, Wal-Mart, and etc.They normally buy 30,000 lbs of spent brass at a time.This week the DOD wrote a letter to the owner of Georgia Arms and said that from now on the DOD will be destroying the brass - shredding it. It is no longer available to the Ammo makers - unless they just buy it in a scrap shredded condition (which they have No use for). The shredded brass is NOW going to be sold by the DOD to China as scrapmetal....after the DOD pays or it to be shredded. The DOD is selling the brass to China for less money than Ammo manufacturers have been paying...plus the DOD has to pay to have the brass shredded and do all the accounting paperwork. That sure helps the US economy now, doesn't it? Sell cheaper to China - and do not sell shells at all to a proven US business. Any agenda working here???? Obama going after our ammunition!!!!!The Georgia Arms owner even related a story that one of his competitors had already purchased a load of brass last week - and the DOD contacted him this week and said they were sending someone over to make sure it was destroyed. Shell Casings he had already bought! THE BRASS HAS NO VALUE TO THE AMMO MAKER IF IT ISDESTROYED/SHREDDED/MELTED. THE AMMO MANUFACTURER ONLY USES THE EMPTY BRASS SHELLS TO RELOAD DIFFERENT CALIBERS - MAINLY .223 BULLETS. Georgia Arms owner says that he will have to lay off at least half of his 60 workers, within 2 - 3 months if the DOD no longer sells their spent brass to him. He has 2 - 3 months inventory of shells to use. By summer - he's out. FLEA
As The Six, one of my jobs is the morale of the men and women under my command. Well, never let it be said that The Six is asleep at the wheel. In that vein I present FLEA (tongue planted firmly in cheek).

Subject: Radical Federal Law Enforcement Officials and Their Potential for Violence
Scope
This report is the result of a multi-year intelligence gathering study by various state agencies (primarily State Highway Patrol, County Sheriff Offices and Local Police Departments). The object was to ascertain the potential for violence and civil rights abuses by the Federal Law Enforcement Agencies (FLEA) including the FBI, BATF, IRS and DHS.
Key Findings
The C-SLEC Office of Intelligent Analysis has no specific information that any federal agency or any agent or director plans specific violent acts or civil rights abuses but their potential is manifest. That potential, coupled with past instances of such violence and civil rights abuses, leads this office to issue this warning to all state based agencies.
Current Economic and Political Climate
The current presidential administration’s efforts to secure more power and control for the federal government could lead to the ordering of FLEA to attempting the exercise of law enforcement duties outside their traditional roles. Recent incursions against law abiding citizens of the 50 Sovereign States by FLEA point out the potential dangers. The federal investigation of returning Iraq and Afghan military veterans as potential domestic terrorists is one example.
Historical Perspective
During the federal sieges at Waco, Texas and Ruby Ridge, Idaho, FLEA agents showed a willingness to use unrestrained violence against law breakers. It is thought that the public backlash against FLEA heavy handedness has caused a rift between tax paying citizens and FLEA that has caused a level of paranoia to permeate FLEA at all levels. FLEA’s insistence on abrogating local law enforcement agencies in the execution of their traditional (and locally controlled) duties has increased FLEA mistrust of all outsiders. This paranoia and mistrust may cause FLEA agents and leadership (see Janet Napolitano) to strike out against all those they view as “undesirable” or disloyal. It is thought that FLEA leadership may be feeding on this disconnect between citizens/veterans and the federal government to convince the more moderate members of FLEA to “just follow orders.”
FLEA’s failure to convict and jail noted domestic terrorists like William Ayers, can be construed as giving tacit approval to such activities. Giving such as him an honored place among government advisers can be viewed as contributing to the decline of federal government standards and mores. It is feared FLEA may be taking training from such subversives.
Outlook
C-SLEC assesses that the combination of distrust and a penchant for violence by FLEA, combined with a historic disregard for States Sovereignty, is cause for concern. All State, County and Local law enforcement agencies are cautioned in any dealings with FLEA members. FLEA agents are routinely heavily armed, including with “assault weapon” type firearms. Subject: Radical Federal Law Enforcement Officials and Their Potential for Violence
Scope
This report is the result of a multi-year intelligence gathering study by various state agencies (primarily State Highway Patrol, County Sheriff Offices and Local Police Departments). The object was to ascertain the potential for violence and civil rights abuses by the Federal Law Enforcement Agencies (FLEA) including the FBI, BATF, IRS and DHS.
Key Findings
The C-SLEC Office of Intelligent Analysis has no specific information that any federal agency or any agent or director plans specific violent acts or civil rights abuses but their potential is manifest. That potential, coupled with past instances of such violence and civil rights abuses, leads this office to issue this warning to all state based agencies.
Current Economic and Political Climate
The current presidential administration’s efforts to secure more power and control for the federal government could lead to the ordering of FLEA to attempting the exercise of law enforcement duties outside their traditional roles. Recent incursions against law abiding citizens of the 50 Sovereign States by FLEA point out the potential dangers. The federal investigation of returning Iraq and Afghan military veterans as potential domestic terrorists is one example.
Historical Perspective
During the federal sieges at Waco, Texas and Ruby Ridge, Idaho, FLEA agents showed a willingness to use unrestrained violence against law breakers. It is thought that the public backlash against FLEA heavy handedness has caused a rift between tax paying citizens and FLEA that has caused a level of paranoia to permeate FLEA at all levels. FLEA’s insistence on abrogating local law enforcement agencies in the execution of their traditional (and locally controlled) duties has increased FLEA mistrust of all outsiders. This paranoia and mistrust may cause FLEA agents and leadership (see Janet Napolitano) to strike out against all those they view as “undesirable” or disloyal. It is thought that FLEA leadership may be feeding on this disconnect between citizens/veterans and the federal government to convince the more moderate members of FLEA to “just follow orders.”
FLEA’s failure to convict and jail noted domestic terrorists like William Ayers, can be construed as giving tacit approval to such activities. Giving such as him an honored place among government advisers can be viewed as contributing to the decline of federal government standards and mores. It is feared FLEA may be taking training from such subversives.
Outlook
C-SLEC assesses that the combination of distrust and a penchant for violence by FLEA, combined with a historic disregard for States Sovereignty, is cause for concern. History of the Constitution: Background part1
(I’ve decided that I’m going to take my notes from Mr. Lewis’ class and go through his lessons in the order in which he taught them; as I learned each piece I began to see the puzzle come together, and I want to stay true to that methodology. As we are interested in American history we will start with some English history, as that is our historical heritage.)
Mankind has a history of hierarchical political systems. Whether you call him them King, Czar, or Emperor the source of power in this system comes from God (which god, of course, depends on where and when you are crowned), and from him to the people.

King
Nobility
People
God chose who would be King, who would be Nobles and who would be the Peasants; you are who you are because God made you that way. Peasants owed fealty to their Lord and King, Nobles owed fealty to the King. You swore an othe to the King, people, not to a country. There were no country loyalties in the old order, there was only loyalty to the King; treason, for example, was disloyalty to the King! The idea of a nation was a concept that wasn’t really in existence, you simply had a Kingdom.
So, you see, the King is your everything.
Embedded in this old order is the belief that the King gives you your rights. Everything you have is all given to you from the King, every right you have comes from him. It is easy to see that if the King gives ‘em to ya he can take ‘em away. If he believes it is best for the country to take your land, your animals, your head, he has the right to. No trial, no jury, just Kingly justice. They were his in the first place to be given out, they are still his now to be taken back.
“I as King deem it best for my kingdom that I should take your car. It pollutes the earth and hurts others so I have decided that you will give it up. No recompense, I’m just taking it.”
So how did this change? It began in 1066 at the Battle of Hastings.
No, really, it did.
The Duke of Normandy (a French Duke) managed to win the battle and gain the right to the English crown. With him came the ideals of the Greeks and Romans. Prior to the Norman invasion the English were a very Germanic people, with the very tribal and hierarchical ideals that the Germans had maintained. The Anglo-Saxons of Germany had never been conquered by the Romans, had never integrated the theories of the Latin thinkers. The French, on the other hand, had assimilated that thinking; Greco-Roman thinking included such ideas as Democracy and of Republics. With this new King came an influx of these new ideas.
King Henry the 2nd, in the 12th century, takes England another step on the road away from hierarchy as he begans to consolidate power in his own hands and away from the individual fiefdoms. But that seems counter to movement away from hierarchy! Yes, but go with me here. He consolidated his own power by removing certain judicial powers from the Nobles; he instituted the Kings Court where a level of common law (or equality before the law) applied across the kingdom. That meant that if you could eat the apples hanging over the road in Suffolk, you couldn’t be arrested for the same thing in Dorset.
Okay, great, so what? Prior to the Kings Court each fiefdom had the right to make its own laws; each had its own set of punishments for those laws, and there was no knowing what those laws may be from one day to the next. With the new courts there is a pattern of sameness everywhere. A peasant may be a peasant but now he has certain rights that he carries with him that are the same for him as they are for the guy down the street.
It also illustrates the fight between the Nobles and the King. The Nobles had always maintained a degree of autocracy in their individual fiefdoms. The Nobles had rights and freedoms that they wanted to protect; rights like not paying taxes, and not being forced into military service. But those rights were a threat to the total control of the King and the nobles began to fear that a strong king would begin to take those rights away. In 1215, with a weak king on the throne, the Nobles forced King John to sign the Magna Carta.
The Magna Carta introduces the idea that some rights are given, not by the King, but by God; and since they were given to the Nobles by God the King had no right, or ability, to take them away. This is a document laying out the idea that some rights are natural rights. The rights laid out were very specific to the Nobility and had nothing to do with the peasants, but the point is that they were there. There and written down! (This is important, remember it.)
This written document told the King you can’t do this, this or this, limiting the Kings power and tilting the hierarchy slightly sideways. Now, no one paid much attention to it for about 400 years, but the point is that the step was taken.
In 1381 the peasants start to get into the mix a bit. The Black Plague had reduced the numbers of able bodied men to work, and the peasants finally had the gumption to demand better pay and conditions for themselves. The peasants started to get in on the idea that they had the right not to be treated so badly and rebelled. (To read more, this is a good place to start.)
The point of the rebellion came down to an idea that no peasant had before voiced. From a priest named John Ball comes a sermon that sums up the new idea of peasants natural rights:
Now comes that shift. When God made us, see, he made us all the same. All equal. There at the Garden of Eden there were no nobles (gentlemen), no kings. Just men.
Next up, from the Reformation to the Glorious Revolution. Background, ain’t it grand?

Rightwing Extremism?
The Sarge and I talked about this at some length. We are of the mind that this outrage is not being taken seriously enough.

The msm seems to be silent on this. No great surprise there. What is surprising is the silence from vets. Well, The Sarge and I are vets and we're not going to let this excrement stand unanswered. If you think we're bad just wait until the DO sees this. She's going to go off!
This is exactly what we've been talking about. This administration must demonize the Warrior Class if they are to institute the socialization and enslavement of America. Don't take my word for it. Please go and read this document, prepared and disseminated to American law enforcement by our government. How long before the arrests begin? How long before anyone not towing the O line gets labeled as a terrorist, a subversive, a criminal? How long before we become unpersons?
How long before all retiring and separating vets are required to undergo "psychological counseling" before separation? Drugs? Brainwashing? Can you say "probationary releasee?"
Are we being paranoid? I'd have said so not so very long ago. Like yesterday, before I read this. No longer. I think we're not being paranoid enough.
I know, I know, the DHS released a similiar document about left wing groups earlier this year. What's the difference you ask? The DHS named specific groups and even individuals in that document. This one is so broadly drawn that anyone might fall under it's warnings. When you can't find the bad guys just smear everyone huh? Profiling is a bad thing for some but not for others it seems. Wait, I thought profiling was always bad. I guess not.
The tag line under the header of this blog says "Silent No More." Folks, we've got to make ourselves heard by those who would make us the bogeymen. That our country would make vets and anyone who thinks the currrent administration is one small step away from the USSA the enemy is fucking outrageous. We are not the enemy, we are the guarantors of liberty and peace. We are the Warrior Class.
We have made no threats beyond working within the system to vote out of office those we believe are trying to take away our freedoms and staying true to the Oaths we swore. It seems some believe that such thinking may constitute domestic terrorism. Such are the actions of the despicable.

One Vietnam veteran, an old retired colonel, once said this to me: "Most of the people in our society are sheep. They are kind, gentle, productive creatures who can only hurt one another by accident." This is true. Remember, the murder rate is six per 100,000 per year, and the aggravated assault rate is four per 1,000 per year. What this means is that the vast majority of Americans are not inclined to hurt one another. Some estimates say that two million Americans are victims of violent crimes every year, a tragic, staggering number, perhaps an all-time record rate of violent crime. But there are almost 300 million Americans, which means that the odds of being a victim of violent crime is considerably less than one in a hundred on any given year. Furthermore, since many violent crimes are committed by repeat offenders, the actual number of violent citizens is considerably less than two million.
Thus there is a paradox, and we must grasp both ends of the situation: We may well be in the most violent times in history, but violence is still remarkably rare. This is because most citizens are kind, decent people who are not capable of hurting each other, except by accident or under extreme provocation. They are sheep. I mean nothing negative by calling them sheep. To me it is like the pretty, blue robin's egg. Inside it is soft and gooey but someday it will grow into something wonderful. But the egg cannot survive without its hard blue shell.
Police officers, soldiers, and other warriors are like that shell, and someday the civilization they protect will grow into something wonderful. For now, though, they need warriors to protect them from the predators.
"Then there are the wolves," the old war veteran said, "and the wolves feed on the sheep without mercy." Do you believe there are wolves out there who will feed on the flock without mercy? You better believe it. There are evil men in this world and they are capable of evil deeds. The moment you forget that or pretend it is not so, you become a sheep. There is no safety in denial.
"Then there are sheepdogs," he went on, "and I'm a sheepdog. I live to protect the flock and confront the wolf." If you have no capacity for violence then you are a healthy productive citizen, a sheep. If you have a capacity for violence and no empathy for your fellow citizens, then you have defined an aggressive sociopath, a wolf. But what if you have a capacity for violence, and a deep love for your fellow citizens? What do you have then? A sheepdog, a warrior, someone who is walking the hero's path. Someone who can walk into the heart of darkness, into the universal human phobia, and walk out unscathed.
Let me expand on this old soldier's excellent model of the sheep, wolves, and sheepdogs. We know that the sheep live in denial, that is what makes them sheep. They do not want to believe that there is evil in the world. They can accept the fact that fires can happen, which is why they want fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, fire alarms and fire exits throughout their kids' schools. But many of them are outraged at the idea of putting an armed police officer in their kid's school. Our children are thousands of times more likely to be killed or seriously injured by school violence than fire, but the sheep's only response to the possibility of violence is denial. The idea of someone coming to kill or harm their child is just too hard, and so they chose the path of denial.
The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, can not and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheep dog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed. The world cannot work any other way, at least not in a representative democracy or a republic such as ours.
Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that there are wolves in the land. They would prefer that he didn't tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports in camouflage fatigues holding an M-16. The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go, "Baa."
Until the wolf shows up.
Then the entire flock tries desperately to hide behind one lonely sheepdog. The students, the victims, at Columbine High School were big, tough high school students, and under ordinary circumstances they would not have had the time of day for a police officer. They were not bad kids; they just had nothing to say to a cop. When the school was under attack, however, and SWAT teams were clearing the rooms and hallways, the officers had to physically peel those clinging, sobbing kids off of them. This is how the little lambs feel about their sheepdog when the wolf is at the door.
Look at what happened after September 11, 2001 when the wolf pounded hard on the door. Remember how America, more than ever before, felt differently about their law enforcement officers and military personnel? Remember how many times you heard the word hero? Understand that there is nothing morally superior about being a sheepdog; it is just what you choose to be. Also understand that a sheepdog is a funny critter: He is always sniffing around out on the perimeter, checking the breeze, barking at things that go bump in the night, and yearning for a righteous battle. That is, the young sheepdogs yearn for a righteous battle. The old sheepdogs are a little older and wiser, but they move to the sound of the guns when needed right along with the young ones.
Here is how the sheep and the sheepdog think differently. The sheep pretend the wolf will never come, but the sheepdog lives for that day. After the attacks on September 11, 2001, most of the sheep, that is, most citizens in America said, "Thank God I wasn't on one of those planes." The sheepdogs, the warriors, said, "Dear God, I wish I could have been on one of those planes. Maybe I could have made a difference." When you are truly transformed into a warrior and have truly invested yourself into warriorhood, you want to be there. You want to be able to make a difference. There is nothing morally superior about the sheepdog, the warrior, but he does have one real advantage. Only one. And that is that he is able to survive and thrive in an environment that destroys 98 percent of the population.
There was research conducted a few years ago with individuals convicted of violent crimes. These cons were in prison for serious, predatory crimes of violence: assaults, murders and killing law enforcement officers. The vast majority said that they specifically targeted victims by body language: slumped walk, passive behavior and lack of awareness. They chose their victims like big cats do in Africa, when they select one out of the herd that is least able to protect itself. Some people may be destined to be sheep and others might be genetically primed to be wolves or sheepdogs. But I believe that most people can choose which one they want to be, and I'm proud to say that more and more Americans are choosing to become sheepdogs.
Seven months after the attack on September 11, 2001, Todd Beamer was honored in his hometown of Cranbury, New Jersey. Todd, as you recall, was the man on Flight 93 over Pennsylvania who called on his cell phone to alert an operator from United Airlines about the hijacking. When he learned of the other three passenger planes that had been used as weapons, Todd dropped his phone and uttered the words, "Let's roll," which authorities believe was a signal to the other passengers to confront the terrorist hijackers. In one hour, a transformation occurred among the passengers - athletes, business people and parents. -- from sheep to sheepdogs and together they fought the wolves, ultimately saving an unknown number of lives on the ground.
There is no safety for honest men except by believing all possible evil of evil men.

Here is the point I like to emphasize, especially to the thousands of police officers and soldiers I speak to each year. In nature the sheep, real sheep, are born as sheep. Sheepdogs are born that way, and so are wolves. They didn't have a choice. But you are not a critter. As a human being, you can be whatever you want to be. It is a conscious, moral decision. If you want to be a sheep, then you can be a sheep and that is okay, but you must understand the price you pay. When the wolf comes, you and your loved ones are going to die if there is not a sheepdog there to protect you. If you want to be a wolf, you can be one, but the sheepdogs are going to hunt you down and you will never have rest, safety, trust or love.
But if you want to be a sheepdog and walk the warrior's path, then you must make a conscious and moral decision every day to dedicate, equip and prepare yourself to thrive in that toxic, corrosive moment when the wolf comes knocking at the door. For example, many officers carry their weapons in church. They are well concealed in ankle holsters, shoulder holsters or inside-the-belt holsters tucked into the small of their backs. Anytime you go to some form of religious service, there is a very good chance that a police officer in your congregation is carrying. You will never know if there is such an individual in your place of worship, until the wolf appears to massacre you and your loved ones.
I was training a group of police officers in Texas, and during the break, one officer asked his friend if he carried his weapon in church. The other cop replied, "I will never be caught without my gun in church." I asked why he felt so strongly about this, and he told me about a cop he knew who was at a church massacre in Ft. Worth, Texas in 1999. In that incident, a mentally deranged individual came into the church and opened fire, gunning down fourteen people. He said that officer believed he could have saved every life that day if he had been carrying his gun. His own son was shot, and all he could do was throw himself on the boy's body and wait to die.
That cop looked me in the eye and said, "Do you have any idea how hard it would be to live with yourself after that?"
Some individuals would be horrified if they knew this police officer was carrying a weapon in church. They might call him paranoid and would probably scorn him. Yet these same individuals would be enraged and would call for "heads to roll" if they found out that the airbags in their cars were defective, or that the fire extinguisher and fire sprinklers in their kids' school did not work. They can accept the fact that fires and traffic accidents can happen and that there must be safeguards against them. Their only response to the wolf, though, is denial, and all too often their response to the sheepdog is scorn and disdain.
But the sheepdog quietly asks himself, "Do you have and idea how hard it would be to live with yourself if your loved ones attacked and killed, and you had to stand there helplessly because you were unprepared for that day?" It is denial that turns people into sheep. Sheep are psychologically destroyed by combat because their only defense is denial, which is counterproductive and destructive, resulting in fear, helplessness and horror when the wolf shows up.
Denial kills you twice. It kills you once, at your moment of truth when you are not physically prepared: you didn't bring your gun, you didn't train. Your only defense was wishful thinking. Hope is not a strategy. Denial kills you a second time because even if you do physically survive, you are psychologically shattered by your fear helplessness and horror at your moment of truth.
Gavin de Becker puts it like this in Fear Less, his superb post-9/11 book, which should be required reading for anyone trying to come to terms with our current world situation: "...denial can be seductive, but it has an insidious side effect. For all the peace of mind deniers think they get by saying it isn't so, the fall they take when faced with new violence is all the more unsettling."
Denial is a save-now-pay-later scheme, a contract written entirely in small print, for in the long run, the denying person knows the truth on some level. And so the warrior must strive to confront denial in all aspects of his life, and prepare himself for the day when evil comes. If you are a warrior who is legally authorized to carry a weapon and you step outside without that weapon, then you become a sheep, pretending that the bad man will not come today. No one can be "on" 24/7, for a lifetime. Everyone needs down time. But if you are authorized to carry a weapon, and you walk outside without it, just take a deep breath, and say this to yourself... "Baa."
This business of being a sheep or a sheep dog is not a yes-no dichotomy. It is not an all-or-nothing, either-or choice. It is a matter of degrees, a continuum. On one end is an abject, head-in-the-sand-sheep and on the other end is the ultimate warrior. Few people exist completely on one end or the other. Most of us live somewhere in between. Since 9-11 almost everyone in America took a step up that continuum, away from denial. The sheep took a few steps toward accepting and appreciating their warriors, and the warriors started taking their job more seriously. The degree to which you move up that continuum, away from sheephood and denial, is the degree to which you and your loved ones will survive, physically and psychologically at your moment of truth.

One Vietnam veteran, an old retired colonel, once said this to me: "Most of the people in our society are sheep. They are kind, gentle, productive creatures who can only hurt one another by accident." This is true. Remember, the murder rate is six per 100,000 per year, and the aggravated assault rate is four per 1,000 per year. What this means is that the vast majority of Americans are not inclined to hurt one another. Some estimates say that two million Americans are victims of violent crimes every year, a tragic, staggering number, perhaps an all-time record rate of violent crime. But there are almost 300 million Americans, which means that the odds of being a victim of violent crime is considerably less than one in a hundred on any given year. Furthermore, since many violent crimes are committed by repeat offenders, the actual number of violent citizens is considerably less than two million.
Thus there is a paradox, and we must grasp both ends of the situation: We may well be in the most violent times in history, but violence is still remarkably rare. This is because most citizens are kind, decent people who are not capable of hurting each other, except by accident or under extreme provocation. They are sheep. I mean nothing negative by calling them sheep. To me it is like the pretty, blue robin's egg. Inside it is soft and gooey but someday it will grow into something wonderful. But the egg cannot survive without its hard blue shell.
Police officers, soldiers, and other warriors are like that shell, and someday the civilization they protect will grow into something wonderful. For now, though, they need warriors to protect them from the predators.
"Then there are the wolves," the old war veteran said, "and the wolves feed on the sheep without mercy." Do you believe there are wolves out there who will feed on the flock without mercy? You better believe it. There are evil men in this world and they are capable of evil deeds. The moment you forget that or pretend it is not so, you become a sheep. There is no safety in denial.
"Then there are sheepdogs," he went on, "and I'm a sheepdog. I live to protect the flock and confront the wolf." If you have no capacity for violence then you are a healthy productive citizen, a sheep. If you have a capacity for violence and no empathy for your fellow citizens, then you have defined an aggressive sociopath, a wolf. But what if you have a capacity for violence, and a deep love for your fellow citizens? What do you have then? A sheepdog, a warrior, someone who is walking the hero's path. Someone who can walk into the heart of darkness, into the universal human phobia, and walk out unscathed.
Let me expand on this old soldier's excellent model of the sheep, wolves, and sheepdogs. We know that the sheep live in denial, that is what makes them sheep. They do not want to believe that there is evil in the world. They can accept the fact that fires can happen, which is why they want fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, fire alarms and fire exits throughout their kids' schools. But many of them are outraged at the idea of putting an armed police officer in their kid's school. Our children are thousands of times more likely to be killed or seriously injured by school violence than fire, but the sheep's only response to the possibility of violence is denial. The idea of someone coming to kill or harm their child is just too hard, and so they chose the path of denial.
The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, can not and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheep dog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed. The world cannot work any other way, at least not in a representative democracy or a republic such as ours.
Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that there are wolves in the land. They would prefer that he didn't tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports in camouflage fatigues holding an M-16. The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go, "Baa."
Until the wolf shows up.
Then the entire flock tries desperately to hide behind one lonely sheepdog. The students, the victims, at Columbine High School were big, tough high school students, and under ordinary circumstances they would not have had the time of day for a police officer. They were not bad kids; they just had nothing to say to a cop. When the school was under attack, however, and SWAT teams were clearing the rooms and hallways, the officers had to physically peel those clinging, sobbing kids off of them. This is how the little lambs feel about their sheepdog when the wolf is at the door.
Look at what happened after September 11, 2001 when the wolf pounded hard on the door. Remember how America, more than ever before, felt differently about their law enforcement officers and military personnel? Remember how many times you heard the word hero? Understand that there is nothing morally superior about being a sheepdog; it is just what you choose to be. Also understand that a sheepdog is a funny critter: He is always sniffing around out on the perimeter, checking the breeze, barking at things that go bump in the night, and yearning for a righteous battle. That is, the young sheepdogs yearn for a righteous battle. The old sheepdogs are a little older and wiser, but they move to the sound of the guns when needed right along with the young ones.
Here is how the sheep and the sheepdog think differently. The sheep pretend the wolf will never come, but the sheepdog lives for that day. After the attacks on September 11, 2001, most of the sheep, that is, most citizens in America said, "Thank God I wasn't on one of those planes." The sheepdogs, the warriors, said, "Dear God, I wish I could have been on one of those planes. Maybe I could have made a difference." When you are truly transformed into a warrior and have truly invested yourself into warriorhood, you want to be there. You want to be able to make a difference. There is nothing morally superior about the sheepdog, the warrior, but he does have one real advantage. Only one. And that is that he is able to survive and thrive in an environment that destroys 98 percent of the population.
There was research conducted a few years ago with individuals convicted of violent crimes. These cons were in prison for serious, predatory crimes of violence: assaults, murders and killing law enforcement officers. The vast majority said that they specifically targeted victims by body language: slumped walk, passive behavior and lack of awareness. The Sarge Speaks
Yes, I've got my tea bags ready and I'm going to be there. I hope it will let this so called government know how we feel. However sad as it may sound, hope is all we've got. This bag of criminals is so cold and calculating I doubt anything honorable will effect them.
The problem that I see emerging is much deeper than the common man even knows about. I think that the movement for one world government is on going and much deeper embedded than first thought. I haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet, but I believe it goes beyond national borders let alone political lines. I know that changing our constitution as we know it is one of THEIR goals and they will keep nibbling away until it's gone. My problem is identifying who THEY, THEM, THEIR is. A battle can be won if you know who the enemy is. With out that knowledge it becomes a most difficult war and I do feel we are at war. We must identify the enemy before victory can be achieved.
The first and in my mind foremost is to identify the enemy. I strongly agree that I am among the warrior class and I stand ready to shed my blood to defend my family and way of life. Always have been always will be.

Natural Rights
Life, Liberty and Property: The Natural Rights Theory
(This essay is totally inspired by Mr. Lewis, and parts are taken straight from my notes and his lectures. Please know that much of this is my twist on the window of information he opened for me. I’m in the process of climbing out that window, but I’m still leaning heavily on his expertise. It may not be perfect, and perhaps I should have gone in the order he did to make his points so brilliantly, but we're just gonna have to wing it and see what happens!)
The FFs had a few basic rules and beliefs when they went about drafting the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The very first, and most important, was a right to property. Yep, property.
Everything I have is my property, you see. My life, my car, my body, my money, my liberty, my pursuit of gaining more of all the above (happiness). It’s all mine and no one else has a right to it. This wasn’t an idea that the FFs came up with themselves; however, the FFs were very well schooled and very intelligent men. They used the writing of men like John Locke, who wrote about mans’ natural rights in 1690 (The Second Treatise of Government), and Adam Smith (The Wealth of Nations) as the cement for their ideas. By pulling from Ancient Greece and building on the documents of the past (like the Magna Carta), the FFs crafted a unique society based on a hard and fast faith in the Christian God and the idea that Government should be stay out of your way in your quest to better yourself. Truly the idea is simple and is seemingly lost in our modern world.
• The Natural Law Theory says that the rights of man came from God and not from government, that those rights belong to each man, and that they can only be taken away by God himself.
-In fact, the entire "Revolution" of the American revolution is that we took a top down government view (King, Nobility, People) and turned it around (People, States, Federal Government). More on that another day
• These rights are obvious and any man can see them for himself… they are self evident.
• Because they came from God, they are unalienable… no one but God can alienate them (take them away from you).
• Because the people are the recipients of Gods rights they have a right to govern themselves to maintain these Natural Rights, and they give government the right to intervene on their behalf in the attempt to maintain their property rights.
• The only rights we can give to government are rights we have ourselves, as they are the rights given to us by God and are, therefore, the only legitimate rights.
Lets illustrate, shall we?
-I can give to government the right to defend me from my neighbor because I have that right myself. I can give government some of my money because it is mine to give away.
-I cannot give government the right to my neighbors property. My neighbors money, for example, is his property; because it isn’t mine I can’t give it to someone else. The reason that only property owners could vote was that those elected controlled the coffers and taxation. Taxes collected money from those that owned property, and so only those affected had the right to elect people into positions of power.
So, if a man puts a gun to your head and demands your money, it’s stealing. If a man can elect an official that can tax your money from you and give it to him he is still stealing from you, he just has an intermediary.
The only rights the government has are the rights the people themselves have and have “lent” to the government. You cannot give the government the right to do something you yourself cannot do! You don’t have the right to steal, so you cannot give the right to the government to steal on your behalf!! All welfare is, is one man stealing from another via the government.
And if a non property owner has the right to vote himself a property owner’s money, what else can he vote himself? What about your liberty? What stops him from passing laws affecting your ability to work? (Yeah, Affirmative Action, ever heard of it?)
What about your body? Rape is a violation of property rights, yet if it is possible to vote the rights to someone else’s money why not to someone else’s body?
Now, please don't think I'm saying that Chairman O (totally stole that from Teh Resistance Blog) is going to start legalizing rape. My point is that as the government gained the ability to steal your money the path was cleared to ever expanding theft of our natural rights. A simply example would forced labor to install solar panels for no pay (but for the "greater good"). But, see, since it's the government making the demand, it is one done at threat of liberty and/or life (jail or death).
It may seem farfetched, but it is all the same double edged sword; what is and is not acceptable is a product of the society. 100 years ago abortion would have been OUTRAGEOUS! And yet how many Planned Parenthood offices are there now?? Trust when I say that what is not okay today in modern America may well be standard tomorrow.
Speaking of PP… What about murder? Murder is a violation of a property rights. And yet how many abortions are conducted each year? The Left claims that the baby isn’t a person and therefore has no rights to violate; the Right claims that it is a person and abortion, therefore, is murder. I’d say ask a woman who miscarried and see if she feels that she lost a person or a cluster of cells.
This is becoming a defining line in our society: what do you stand for? Selfish “freedom” to not have to bear consequences? Or do you stand for the right to life? The rights of all men, especially the weak and the helpless.
The Left have shown themselves to be selfish, to puts the rights of cop killers above the rights of the cops, and the “right” to promiscuity over the rights of a child to live. In the era of the FFs these types of people would be condemned as weak, cowardly and dangerous.
Now lets look at the Declaration of Independence as it was written, then I'll go through and add my own notes. I want you to see it whole first, before I start butting in and ruining the flow.

• These rights are obvious and any man can see them for himself… they are self evident.
• Because they came from God, they are unalienable… no one but God can alienate them (take them away from you).
• Because the people are the recipients of Gods rights they have a right to govern themselves to maintain these Natural Rights, and they give government the right to intervene on their behalf in the attempt to maintain their property rights.
• The only rights we can give to government are rights we have ourselves, as they are the rights given to us by God and are, therefore, the only legitimate rights.
Lets illustrate, shall we?
-I can give to government the right to defend me from my neighbor because I have that right myself. I can give government some of my money because it is mine to give away.
-I cannot give government the right to my neighbors property. My neighbors money, for example, is his property; because it isn’t mine I can’t give it to someone else. The reason that only property owners could vote was that those elected controlled the coffers and taxation. Taxes collected money from those that owned property, and so only those affected had the right to elect people into positions of power.
So, if a man puts a gun to your head and demands your money, it’s stealing. If a man can elect an official that can tax your money from you and give it to him he is still stealing from you, he just has an intermediary.
The only rights the government has are the rights the people themselves have and have “lent” to the government. You cannot give the government the right to do something you yourself cannot do! You don’t have the right to steal, so you cannot give the right to the government to steal on your behalf!! All welfare is, is one man stealing from another via the government.
And if a non property owner has the right to vote himself a property owner’s money, what else can he vote himself? What about your liberty? What stops him from passing laws affecting your ability to work? (Yeah, Affirmative Action, ever heard of it?)
What about your body? Rape is a violation of property rights, yet if it is possible to vote the rights to someone else’s money why not to someone else’s body?
Now, please don't think I'm saying that Chairman O (totally stole that from Teh Resistance Blog) is going to start legalizing rape. My point is that as the government gained the ability to steal your money the path was cleared to ever expanding theft of our natural rights. A simply example would forced labor to install solar panels for no pay (but for the "greater good"). But, see, since it's the government making the demand, it is one done at threat of liberty and/or life (jail or death).
It may seem farfetched, but it is all the same double edged sword; what is and is not acceptable is a product of the society. 100 years ago abortion would have been OUTRAGEOUS! And yet how many Planned Parenthood offices are there now?? Trust when I say that what is not okay today in modern America may well be standard tomorrow.
Speaking of PP… What about murder? Murder is a violation of a property rights. And yet how many abortions are conducted each year? The Left claims that the baby isn’t a person and therefore has no rights to violate; the Right claims that it is a person and abortion, therefore, is murder. I’d say ask a woman who miscarried and see if she feels that she lost a person or a cluster of cells.
This is becoming a defining line in our society: what do you stand for? Selfish “freedom” to not have to bear consequences? Or do you stand for the right to life? The rights of all men, especially the weak and the helpless.
The Left have shown themselves to be selfish, to puts the rights of cop killers above the rights of the cops, and the “right” to promiscuity over the rights of a child to live. In the era of the FFs these types of people would be condemned as weak, cowardly and dangerous.
Now lets look at the Declaration of Independence as it was written, then I'll go through and add my own notes. I want you to see it whole first, before I start butting in and ruining the flow.

Balance of Power
Or: the Freedom Bubble.
Balance of power is important to all members of a society. It dictates who is allowed to do what, and is an evolving dynamic in modern societies. The Founding Fathers (FFs) laid down EXACTLY what the Federal Government (FG) was (and because of the demands of a few) what it was not allowed to do. In essence the Constitution is the recording of the only legitimate things Congress can do. Um, read it lately? No? Here's a link.
Just an FYI, universal health care isn't in there. Oh, and neither is a standing army (another story for another day).
Congress has managed to manipulate the atmosphere of our society so often that we might as well abolish the constitution for all that anyone pays attention to it.
But I digress. My point was about balance of power.

When there are fewer laws the people have the greater power, and therefore, great freedoms.
By implementing laws the power shifts to the Government and leaves the people with less power and, therefore, lesser freedom.
Yeah.... AND? Well, friends, as I mentioned before, the Constitution says nothing about Social Security. Universal Healthcare. Income tax (illegal, BTW). "Hate Crimes". Gun laws. Welfare. All this "stuff" has been put into place against the mandate of the states and the people of the original USA. We have corrupted their system and made a laughing stock of their morals. I'll lead you down that road, and it is an uuugly road.
The above is a simple explanation of one of the basic tenants of what was once a very liberal idea: THE PEOPLE OF A NATION HAVE THE RIGHT TO MORE POWER THEN THE GOVERNMENT. When it was first put forth it was the most liberal idea known since the self governments of the Ancient Mediterranean states. Yet it is now the "conservatives" fighting for them.... What's with that?
The problem is that it is fashionable to discard all "old" ideas as "bad" ideas. There is no longer a sense of preserving, or conserving, what worked well from our heritage. Such a thing is scoffed at in our most liberal of countries. Through the years we have thrown away all moral values, social norms, and stabilizing social mores for the greater god of The New.
Bow before him, as he is almighty.
Except that the "modern" American liberal is retracing the barbaric and exterminatory Marxists and the equally brutal and contemptible French Revolutionaries. Both of who massacred their own people and failed miserably.
Oh... Yeah, they are following them pesky Nazi's too. You'll see... Oh, read on as we keep posting and you'll see.
The leftists are a brutal bunch of people and have been for 100 years. They will stop at nothing to gain ALL political power for themselves and will leave bodies behind in their attempt. To think otherwise is not only folly, it is utter suicide.

A Little Explanation Is In Order
I said when I started this blog that I would not tolerate liberals, democrats and squishy republicans commenting on here. At the time I really, really meant it. Yesterday I got tested.
A man I like very much made a comment on a post. He's a man who's blog I have read regularly. He's pretty smart and has a great blog. His comment was one I regarded as in violation of my clearly stated rules. I deleted the comment and wrote a post that will surely sever any friendly relationship we might have developed. I really, really hate that but I am not sorry. Let me explain.
We are where we are precisely because we have engaged the liberals in conversation. We conservatives have an annoying (and ultimately destructive) tendency to feel sympathy for differing points of view. And not a little guilt. We believe in the old saw "I may disagree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it". The problem is the other side does not hold the same belief.
We have let our guard down and let the liberals define the argument. Let them define the words we use and now let them define the words we are no longer allowed to use. They are defining the very language, to our detriment.
Think about how words like green, hate, progressive, redistribution, rights, offended and such are now used. Hate alone has been twisted so badly it can mean anything the left wants it to mean. From criticism to crime. Hate crime is now the law and we allowed it to happen because we allowed the left to define the word. Criticism of O is called racism. Civil rights means illegal alien "rights". Redistribution means more middle class taxes. Progressive means anyone who supports a socialist state and God help anyone who disagrees. The left takes "offense" at anything conservative, just because it is conservative and they hope that by labeling it as offensive they can make it go away. And they have succeeded.
Can any of you say you have changed the mind of an avowed liberal about anything? Ever? I haven't and I have tried. They shout and accuse until we give up, hands over our ears. I can't take it any more. I won't take it any more. I just don't have the patience to try and educate the ineducable.
It's time for us to tell the left and the squishy that we are done listening to their nonsense. It's time for the grownups to take charge.
It's time for The People to refuse to be labeled by those who want nothing more than to silence us.
I will be silent no more and I won't tolerate anyone telling me how to think and what I can and cannot say. No one will define the argument for me. I'll define it for myself.
To the man I deleted and who almost certainly is done with me. I wish things were different but the very future of my grandchildren, as well as the grandchildren of every American, is at stake. I won't make the same mistakes I have in the past. There is precisely zero time left. It's now or never. The days of our Republic, as we have known her for over 2 centuries, is quite literally numbered in days. I believe this with all my heart and soul. For me to act otherwise than I am would be a betrayal of my Honor and my Duty. A betrayal of my grandchildren and my America.
I still believe every American has the absolute right to say whatever they want whenever they want to say it. I'm just done listening to those I believe are completely wrong. I'm done with the newspaper. Done with network news. Done with the left. Done.
It's time to pick a side.

What Have We Done?

AMERICA’S NEW ANTHEM -----“WHAT HAVE WE DONE”
After all the warnings, hand wringing, and savage talk, America chose to do what would never be thought possible only a few years ago---elect a far-left President and Congress hell-bent on “CHANGING” this country into a Socialist State. Sometimes, I wonder how many Americans understand what this really means. My thoughts initially were to give the new President a chance, and not make snap decisions based on out-of-control rhetoric during the campaign. Well, that worked well, and now we are beginning to see that the President is doing exactly what he promised during the campaign, and NO ONE LISTENED!!! The masses were overwhelmed with silver-tongued, no-logic promises that most knew could never be fulfilled.
Soon, the American people will have witnessed enough of this madness. They are a smart lot, and when they have seen enough they will start to ask the big question, “WHAT HAVE WE DONE”? However, the real question will be, “IS IT TOO LATE”?
I do not wish to dwell on the multitude of mistakes that have already been made during the first 60 days of this administration, both foreign and domestic. It must be obvious even to the fiscally irresponsible far-left that the nation is heading unimpeded toward bankruptcy. We hear the President speak often of the deficit. He is not talking about the national debt. He is talking about the rate in which we are increasing the debt. So when he says he will cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term, he is actually saying he will cut the rate at which the debt is increasing by the end of his first term. That is absolutely not good enough. Even Bill Clinton, with the help of a Republican Congress, showed a surplus in deficit spending for a short period. That is accomplished only when you have a growing economy. Now equate that to our economic situation today, and it is obvious this is just another fabrication conjured up by this administration. AMERICANS WAKE UP before it is too late. It is highly probably that the debt is not repayable even as we speak, and it is growing at the most alarming rate in history. Just the annual interest on the current debt is larger than our annual military budget.
Even more frightening is the fact that the President and his cross-party impaired Secretary of Defense have decided to reduce the capability of our military by cutting funding for many badly needed weapon systems, which were designed to replace old and worn out existing systems. The US Air Force F-22 comes to mind. A bird designed to provide Air Superiority for the next 50 years. The initial contract for this system was for near 700 aircraft. It has been cut to 183 now, and possible even will be ended early. Thank you far-left politicians, as your timing is great. Again, as during the Jimmy Carter years, you are cutting our military in favor of increasing welfare and social programs. At least when Jimmy Carter did his infamous magic act, we were not facing a major threat. However, today we face the most serious threat to this nation since WWII. For goodness sake, what part of this does Obama, Clinton, Pelosi, Reed, Schumer, Murtha, Kerry, Durbin, Maxine, Waxman, Boxer, Feinstein, (and on and on), not understand.
Now, here is a strange, new thought. Why not put a large portion of that stimulus money toward expanding and equipping our military. Many good folks who were there will tell you that the Great Depression was ended because of our war production preparing to enter WWII, not the mumbling and bungling of FDR. I believe this to be true, so why not kill several birds with one stone. Why not stimulate the economy by rebuilding/expanding the greatest institution in this country, our US Military. At the same time we would be rebuilding deterrence capable of defeating conventional enemies on two fronts without stressing our forces, as our civilian-leader-developed doctrine has dictated throughout the history of this nation. Why not rebuild an infrastructure capable of producing again, save the auto manufacturing capability and put people back to work. Was it Ronald Reagan who said, “There has never been a nation attacked because it was too strong”? And, oh by the way, talking to, and appeasing Middle-East terrorist---please give me a break!!! These are complex times, but they warrant simple answers that work. It will be fun to watch the far-left spin this one, as their lame brained approach continues to fail!
Conservatives out number the far-left by large numbers, and I realize I am preaching to the choir. I spent the majority of my adult life wearing the uniform of this country, and I still bear allegiance to the oath I took many years ago to “defend this nation against all enemies, both foreign and domestic”. That is why I continue to utter phrases such as, “How many times have you heard the phrase, AMERICA WAKE UP”??? Well, it is time for AMERICA TO WAKE UP, before the dream has ended. There was a lot of prepping and planning over a long period of time to get us to the devilish point we are at today, and it will take serious thought and effort if we are to reverse it. Because conservatives have the numbers, it is possible to turn this around, but they must wake up and act. I am absolutely sure there are some good clear-thinking Democrats out there who feel the same. Together, with our combined power of the vote, we can fix this, and the parties can begin to work together again for the benefit of this great nation.
Let’s take it one step at a time. First, it is imperative that we restore some form of check-and-balance to our government. Again, I know there are many great Democrats and Republicans out there who understand the problem, and want to restore this country to its path of greatness. I am neither, but I am a conservative who understands the danger of any political party possessing a majority in all three branches of government. A one-party system is simply a dictatorship. The overwhelming threat today is that the controlling party is a well financed, far-left, Socialist group who have gained control of the Democratic Party. It is so essential that the people, both Democrat and Republican, take a close look at what is happening. This movement can be brought to a crawl, or maybe even stopped, simply by real Americans going to the polls and casting a sensible vote. This next election cycle is crucial to the future of America. Common sense must prevail!!! It will go against all odds, but achieving a majority in the US Senate by the Republican Party is the only way to restore the common-sensed check-and-balance system that has made this country great. If the roles were reversed, and the Republicans Party was dominant, the same would be true.
In summary, the solution for the short term is simple. Clear thinking Democrats and Republicans, both, have a duty to do what is right for America. They should band together to create a Congress that represents all the people, that is accepting of new ideas and listens to the people. With the current crop of self-indulgent politicians in Washington today, it is impossible to adopt “term limits”, which are part of the long term solution. However, it is possible to vote for more equity in maintaining a true two-party system. So, if you are beginning to question what is happening to our country under the current administration, and on the fence about what can be done, make the question of maintaining a viable the two-party system a major consideration when casting your vote in the next election. THE FUTURE OF OUR KIDS DEPENDS UPON IT!!!!

Now, here is a strange, new thought. Why not put a large portion of that stimulus money toward expanding and equipping our military. Many good folks who were there will tell you that the Great Depression was ended because of our war production preparing to enter WWII, not the mumbling and bungling of FDR. I believe this to be true, so why not kill several birds with one stone. Why not stimulate the economy by rebuilding/expanding the greatest institution in this country, our US Military. At the same time we would be rebuilding deterrence capable of defeating conventional enemies on two fronts without stressing our forces, as our civilian-leader-developed doctrine has dictated throughout the history of this nation. Why not rebuild an infrastructure capable of producing again, save the auto manufacturing capability and put people back to work. Was it Ronald Reagan who said, “There has never been a nation attacked because it was too strong”? And, oh by the way, talking to, and appeasing Middle-East terrorist---please give me a break!!! These are complex times, but they warrant simple answers that work. It will be fun to watch the far-left spin this one, as their lame brained approach continues to fail!
Conservatives out number the far-left by large numbers, and I realize I am preaching to the choir. I spent the majority of my adult life wearing the uniform of this country, and I still bear allegiance to the oath I took many years ago to “defend this nation against all enemies, both foreign and domestic”. That is why I continue to utter phrases such as, “How many times have you heard the phrase, AMERICA WAKE UP”??? Well, it is time for AMERICA TO WAKE UP, before the dream has ended. There was a lot of prepping and planning over a long period of time to get us to the devilish point we are at today, and it will take serious thought and effort if we are to reverse it. Because conservatives have the numbers, it is possible to turn this around, but they must wake up and act. I am absolutely sure there are some good clear-thinking Democrats out there who feel the same. Together, with our combined power of the vote, we can fix this, and the parties can begin to work together again for the benefit of this great nation.
Let’s take it one step at a time. First, it is imperative that we restore some form of check-and-balance to our government. Again, I know there are many great Democrats and Republicans out there who understand the problem, and want to restore this country to its path of greatness. I am neither, but I am a conservative who understands the danger of any political party possessing a majority in all three branches of government. A one-party system is simply a dictatorship. The overwhelming threat today is that the controlling party is a well financed, far-left, Socialist group who have gained control of the Democratic Party. It is so essential that the people, both Democrat and Republican, take a close look at what is happening. This movement can be brought to a crawl, or maybe even stopped, simply by real Americans going to the polls and casting a sensible vote. This next election cycle is crucial to the future of America. Common sense must prevail!!! It will go against all odds, but achieving a majority in the US Senate by the Republican Party is the only way to restore the common-sensed check-and-balance system that has made this country great. If the roles were reversed, and the Republicans Party was dominant, the same would be true.
In summary, the solution for the short term is simple. Clear thinking Democrats and Republicans, both, have a duty to do what is right for America. They should band together to create a Congress that represents all the people, that is accepting of new ideas and listens to the people. With the current crop of self-indulgent politicians in Washington today, it is impossible to adopt “term limits”, which are part of the long term solution. However, it is possible to vote for more equity in maintaining a true two-party system. So, if you are beginning to question what is happening to our country under the current administration, and on the fence about what can be done, make the question of maintaining a viable the two-party system a major consideration when casting your vote in the next election. THE FUTURE OF OUR KIDS DEPENDS UPON IT!!!!

We are the Warrior Class. We are responsible for the safeguarding of the Constitution and American Liberties and we will never shirk our duty.

GM Was Only The Beginning
So the, I just can't write that man's name here. Lets just refer to the president as The Big O.
So The Big O decided the president can now take direct, personal control of a major American Corporation. He fired the GM CEO.
Oh, you can say he resigned under pressure or for the "good of the company" but the reality is he was fired. By the president. Our government has such pervasive control that they can make hiring and firing decisions in private business.
Just an isolated incident you say? Better ask the CEO of Bank Of America. The SEIU (Service Employees International Union may they all rot in hell) has recommended that The Big O fire him as well. All in the interest of improving the economy of course. Nothing personal there. Like maybe employee/employer relationships for example.
And that's not all. They're talking about exercising control of the salaries of workers in those same private businesses. Will yours be next? Mine? Everyone's?
Barney Frank thinks it's all just a peachy idea. Replace the corporate fat cats with what?
Government fat cats of course. Friends and supporters of the liberals in power.
And we all know how well big government runs things. Don't we?
I'm feeling all warm and gooey inside just thinking about mama and papa taking care of all my wants and needs. From cradle to grave.
Freedom isn't for the weak. It's for the strong.
