Sunday Kipling - Mother's Day Edition

To all the mothers out there, Happy Mother's Day. I love you all very much.

Mother o' Mine

If I were hanged on the highest hill,
Mother o' mine, O mother o' mine!
I know whose love would follow me still,
Mother o' mine, O mother o' mine!

If I were drowned in the deepest sea,
Mother o' mine, O mother o' mine!
I know whose tears would come down to me,
Mother o' mine, O mother o' mine!

If I were damned of body and soul,
I know whose prayers would make me whole,
Mother o' mine, O mother o' mine!

Kipling had a way with words, didn't he?
Give all the gals in your life a big ol' hug!

I have to admit to being a huge Kipling fan Scott. It was actually John Ringo who convinced me to start reading him but it was Kiplings words who convinced me to stick around.

Oh, and hugs given my friend.

Good - I had to enlist my son for the hugs on this end as I'm out of town...
